Mac Golf is thrilled to announce their partnership with PGA EuroPro Tour and have their state-of-the-art Carbon Mac shaft as the official putter shaft of the tour.
The Carbon Mac is the most stable putter shaft yet, made from 100% ultra high modulus carbon fibre to create a shaft that’s lighter and stronger than steel, as well as 20% more consistent than any other putter shaft on the market.
Using the highest quality carbon, Mac Golf has created a putter shaft that’s sleek-looking, smooth-swinging and easy-fitting. Something that has all the control, stability and consistency a putter shaft should have.
Raymond McMahon, Mac Golf’s founder and engineer, says: ‘I developed the Carbon Mac putter shaft after working with Josh McMahon for 6 years through his Elite Golf Amateur years.
‘During this time we realised the putter shaft hasn’t improved that much, if any, for 30 years. So we decided to design our own carbon fibre version. After researching what was available, I decided I could do better. So I made over 40 prototype shaft mandrels and finally came up with Carbon Mac.’
Still early in its journey, the Carbon Mac has already broken new ground in putting and continues to push the boundaries in golf technology. And it’s already been seen on both the PGA Tour and European Tour in its short time in the public eye. See the stats behind the statements here.
‘This shaft is made up of ultra high density carbon fibre and we’re proud to say it’s made in the UK,’ continues Raymond. ‘This gives our company, Mac Golf Products Ltd, full quality control and despatch of the Carbon Mac.
‘We’re a new company, but we have many years of experience in the golf industry. My goal was to give all standards of players the same quality product the tour pro gets. I’ve achieved that with Carbon Mac and I look forward to improving the standard of putting everywhere.’
To celebrate the partnership, Mac Golf and PGA EuroPro Tour are giving away a one-off Scotty Cameron Phantom X 11 Putter with a Carbon Mac shaft and Cameron pistol grip worth £530! To enter click here.
